TR3 Racing’s De La Torre IV and Bamber Dominate Watkins Glen with Perfect Weekend, Multiple Class Podiums Earned
Fort Lauderdale, FL (June 25, 2025) — TR3 Racing delivered a commanding performance at Watkins Glen International during Round 3 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Championship, with Elias De La Torre IV and Will Bamber sweeping the weekend in dominant fashion. The duo powered the No. 29 Lamborghini Miami Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 to pole position and overall victories in both races, capping off a weekend of excellence that included podium finishes across Pro, Pro-Am, and Am classes for the six-car TR3 Racing squad.
The team’s momentum ignited in Friday’s qualifying sessions. Will Bamber put down a blistering 1:46.337 lap to secure pole position for Race 1. Elias De La Torre IV carried that pace into qualifying for Race 2, locking in another pole with a near-identical time.
In the Pro-Am class, the No. 67 duo of Conrad Geis and Jason Hart earned a P3 starting position for Race 1. While in the AM class, No. 70 driver Dean Neuls earned P5, Mateo Siderman in No. 63, claimed P8. Clay Wilson qualified P9 in the LB Cup class.
For Race 2, Geis and Hart started P5 in PRO AM, Siderman moved up to P5 in AM, Neuls started P6, and Wilson lined up P9 in LB Cup.
Race 1 saw De La Torre and Bamber maintain their front-running pace, leading the 38-car field from start to finish. Hart opened with a strong stint in the No. 67 before handing over to Geis, who brought the car home P2 in class. Siderman delivered a standout performance, charging from P8 to secure a P3 finish in the Am category. Neuls logged a solid P5 finish in Am, while Wilson continued to improve, finishing P7 in LB Cup.
Saturday’s Race 2 was filled with early incidents, forcing the retirement of the No. 70 entry. De La Torre managed a flawless start in the No. 29, as well as a perfect restart, extending a 6.7-second lead before handing the car to Bamber, who maintained the No.29 machine P1 and crossed the checkered with a commanding 10-second lead ahead of the competitor.
Geis and Hart returned to the Pro-Am podium with a P3 finish, while Siderman claimed P6 in class. Wilson once again delivered a clean race, navigating Watkins Glen's speedy and challenging turns to finish P8 in LB Cup.
With their double victory, De La Torre IV and Bamber now lead the Pro Championship. In Pro-Am, Geis and Hart are tied for the class lead heading into the next round.
TR3 Racing’s six-car lineup returns to action at the legendary Road America from July 31st to August 3rd for Round 4 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Championship.
