TR3 Racing Earns Double Podium in PRO Class, Podium in PRO AM at Lamborghini Super Trofeo Season Opener
Fort Lauderdale, FL – March 21, 2025 – The 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season kicked off with a spectacular performance from the entire TR3 Racing team at Sebring International Raceway. The team’s six-car stable had a strong showing at their home track, with impressive results across both the PRO and PRO AM classes. TR3 Racing’s efforts were highlighted by a double P2 finish in the PRO class, as well as a P2 PRO AM finish in Race 2.
The TR3 Racing PRO No. 29 Lamborghini Miami Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, driven by Will Bamber and Elias De La Torre IV, shone brightly in their debut as a pairing. The duo demonstrated impressive chemistry throughout the weekend, earning top-three grid positions in qualifying: P2 for Race 1 and P3 for Race 2. Their solid performances set the stage for a memorable opening race.
In Race 1, Bamber started strong with an outstanding stint, maintaining P2 for the duration of his time behind the wheel. Bamber then handing off to De La Torre IV, who smoothly took over, continuing Bamber's momentum and securing a well-deserved P2 finish for the No. 29 TR3 Racing Lamborghini.
On Friday, in Race 2, De La Torre IV continued his impressive pace despite a highly competitive field, before handing off to Bamber to finish. A late-race caution bunched up the field, making for an intense final few minutes of racing. Despite the challenge, Bamber kept his composure taking No.29 across the checkered flag P2.
The No. 67 PRO AM Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, driven by Jason Hart and Conrad Geis, also delivered stellar results. Hart began the weekend with a standout performance in qualifying, securing pole position in the PRO AM class and second fastest overall for Race 1. In Race 2, Geis qualified P5 for his class, and the duo continued their competitive drive throughout the weekend. Hart and Geis ultimately secured a P2 finish in Race 2, reinforcing the team’s successful season opener.
